Wilfred Mwamba brings over 23 years of experience in international development, leading complex donor-funded programs across West, Central, and Southern Africa. He has held key positions, including Head of Political Governance and Human Development at the Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office (FCDO) in Lusaka and Senior Governance Advisor for the UK Department for International Development (DFID) in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Nigeria, before assuming the role of Chief of Party for USAID’s Local Impact Governance Project in Zambia.

He employs Political Economy Analysis (PEA) to decipher these complexities, ensuring that program designs align with local interests. Recognizing the necessity for flexibility, and advocates for adaptable budgets and staffing, enabling programs to respond promptly to changing circumstances.
