Tuntufye is a multi-dimensionally skilled professional with a diverse background in political economy (PEA), public financial management (PFM), governance, development, and social research. 

 

He has worked in a range of Malawi’s public sectors including health, agriculture, forestry, energy, education, justice, transport, and WASH. His current main areas of focus are Governance, Public Financial Management systems, Organisational Development of public institutions, donor programme implementation design, aid effectiveness, and Political Economy Analysis. 

 

Tuntu works as an independent consultant providing research intelligence to various Development Partners and International organisations in Malawi and abroad. He is responsible for assignment design, execution, analysis, and reporting. Previously, Tuntufye was regional manager (Africa) at Analytics Research Services based at the company’s regional head office in Lusaka, Zambia. This role entailed providing leadership for all the company’s research activities in 12 African countries.
